Zimbabwe, grappling with a record 2.2 million percent inflation....
The southern African nation, has been ravaged by hyperinflation which shot up from 165,000 percent in February to 2.2 million in June.
In January, a 10-million-dollar note was issued, then a 50-million-dollar note in April.
In May, notes for 100 million and 250 million dollars were issued, swiftly followed by those for five billion, 25 billion and 50 billion.

I am so sorry for them, I wish all Africa could live and peace, but it seems people don´t wanna really change their reality, i mean, the politics are awfull for the country and nothing really change year after year....
thanks for the post...
important to remind us, they need to be helped...
oh wow.
that's... wow.
Hey, thanks for the comment I finally found. I really need to update, don't I?
What I find ironic is that despite the dire economic struggles of this country, it still offers paid maternity/parental leave to its citizens, whilst the USA and Australia do not. If even questionable governments in developing countries can look after young families to some extent, surely those two OECD countries can provide a little support too.
It's really disheartening that there's no clear-cut solution of the issues facing Zimbawbwe, especially when international aid evaporates into thin air as soon as it changes hands.
